Today, the 12th April 2024 i visited the Aster RV Hospital Bengaluru for an appointment with Dr. Krishna Chaitanya.The Specialist in Vascular diseases.

I had my own inhibition on the outcome of my visit, as the Dr.'s visit ( consultancy) was not for me, but for my 77 year old Mother in-law. She was suffering from Varicose vein, related skin inflammation.

We thought of the language issues as my mother in law was not comfortable with English & also Dr's, keeping the patient at a distance both physically as well as mentally during consultation. ( Mine & my spouse's experience most of the time when we visited the other doctors for any ailments in Bangalore)

As a surprise we did not face issues mentioned above. The Dr. Welcomed us with a smiling & assuring face. He was very courteous with the patient, my mother in law, my self & my spouse. With a very smiling & encouraging face, he was able to get the information on her ailment from my mother in law.

As Dr.'s questions were in fluent Kannada, the patient was able to confidently explain all her ailments.

At the end of the consultation, the way the Dr. explained the patient's illness & the remedial measures viz., Medication through Tablets, Skin Ointments, Compression Stockings etc. my mother in law said " MY AILMENT IS 50% gone just by meeting you Dr." She also told about joint pain in knee, Foot & also Spondylitis. For these also, he suggested remedial measures. All three of us were very happy to have decided to Consult this Doctor. HOPE MOST DOCTORS I consult in my life time be of same type.

My one and only sister (36 years) under went a Craniotomy surgery by Dr. Bhat had an utter unsuccessful surgery. I am quoting it "unsuccessful" Because, within 1 hour post OT, she had bleeding in her brain and the Oxygen supply was absent as, there were clotting and had a heart attack. Which lead to "Hypoxia"* *** ****** ** **** ********* *** **** ***** ****** **** **** * **** *********** ****** ********* **** *** **** ****** ** *** ***** ** **** **** **** ***** **** ***** ** ******** ********* *** ** ***** ** ** ******** ******* ***** *** **** ******** ** **** Also, they removed the part of bone below her right ear *** *** *** ** ********* ** ***** ******* ** ****** some part of her brain is simply hanging out as bulged protrusion. Since the day of OT, it has been more than 70 days, my beloved sister is in coma (vegetative state). She has a small child of 7 years of age and he searches him mum everyday and why she has not returned home since the day she went to Bangalore for her OT. *** *** **** **** ***** ** *** ** *** ***** ***** ** ***** ******* **** for us, the entire family including my old Father, Mother, her Husband, little child are undergoing this graved turmoil. Which I can never put up in words. We don't need his empathy towards our condition balming it entirely on the position of the tumor located in the brain (which he tried few times with my old Father) We trusted him and expertise but, he broke our family into million pieces. I don't recommend this Dr. To anybody!

I am Suman aged 57 years. I had a fall and had fracture on my right forearm bones & elbow joint.

I got admitted to RV Aster Hospital JP nagar, which is CGHS recognised Hospital, in an emergency.

I underwent surgery for forearm fracture & elbow with plating(DBFA +Olecron).

After removal of stitches, I was advised physiotherapy for the mobility of my right hand.

I'm undergoing physiotherapy under the guidance of Dr.Palak Dengla at Aster Rv hospital. I could not eat food, comb hair, take bath on my own. She helped me get back my range of movement back, i am very happy now. I can do all my activity on my own now. She is very patient and calm and helps patients very well. I was also supervised by Sri Mohammed Riyazuddin, whose service has to be appreciated as he is so dedicated & takes personal care & keeps monitoring the progress.

Thank you Mam & Sir for giving back mobility to my right hand.We are very happy with the complete ortho team and nursing staff and especially Dr. Harsha, Dr. Santosh, Dr. Kamal.

To say Dr. Mridula Devi was a god-send to us is an understatement. We visited A LOT of gynecologists and we were never able to stick to one. We had a previous pregnancy loss, so we were on the lookout for a doctor who was compassionate and understanding. During our first consult,we were very happy with her calming presence and friendly reassurance and decided to continue with her. She was attentive, always answered any question of ours (even if they were silly) without trying to brush it off, made sure to listen and be understanding of our feelings and worries, she recommended the best of specialists and ensured that she always was available to us. Throughout the tough pregnancy, anytime we were worried, we would would reach out to her and she'd support us! All thanks to her, we have our baby girl with us now and we will be eternally grateful to her for being the kind of support we needed. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great Doctor who can empathize with you and be with you every step of the way.

After consulting a number of ob- gyns and just not finding the right one , my husband and I did a thorough search and chanced upon Dr Bhawana Mishra . Reading the glowing reviews gave us hope that this Dr could just be the one. From the get go Dr Bhawana was like a breath of fresh air , with her calm demeanor and beaming smile . I felt comfortable and confident in her . She calmed my fears , addressed all my concerns and cleared my doubts without rushing through the appointment . My pregnancy was anything but painless , I had different symptoms almost every week and Dr Bhawana treated me with utmost patience and care . Whenever I had any uncomfortable symptoms I would msg her and she would reply in a jiffy. Her medicines would always work like magic for me and she made my pregnancy journey as comfortable as possible . During my delivery she came back from her vacation and performed my C section . Seeing her at the operation theatre I knew I was in good hands and my C section couldn't have gone smoother , it was over before I even knew it . I've never met a doctor who is a perfect combination of patient and professional with a profound love for her patients. I will definitely miss my monthly appointments with Dr Bhawana and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an Ob-gyn.

My wife had a fall from the stairs 1 year back. I went to ortho and physiotherapist that time. It was a mild rotator cuff tear. Took medicine and did physiotherapy ift and ultrasound for 10 days. But it did not help much. I was getting severe night pains. Was not able to sleep. Could not cook. Numbness in hand. Then went again. Did MRI again. Rotator cuff Tear had alao increased. Dr.JV Srinivas and Dr.Ashish Philip did my surgery very well in Aug 2023. I consulted Dr.Palak Dengla for Physiotherapy. She is a very nice peraon firstly. She and her team helped me a lot. She explained my exact problem with muscle and bone model. I started regular manual therapy and strengthening exercise programme with her. Within 3 weeks i got my 70% of movement back. Now i am fully able to do all my household activities, cooking, cleaning on my own. I continue exercises taught to me on my own also. 90% of my pain has gone completely. I had gone to play bowling in mall with my family. I had severe shoulder and neck pain immediately. Severe unbearable headache. I met neurologist next day. Took gabapentin also. Still did not settle. After that I met ortho. Did X-ray but everything was normal. Took medicine for 2 weeks. Still pain was there. Then met cardiologist Dr. Venkatesh as he is my cousin at aster. also as pain was still there in shoulder and chest. But he understood my problem was not heart related So he sent me to dr Sowmya, neurologist who is very good. She gave pregaba NT. Still pain was too much. So she referred me to Dr. Harsha orthopaedic surgeon. He was good. He said it is acromion problem and supraspinatus impingement in shoulder and cervical slipped disc problem so He refered me to Dr. Palak Dengla for Physiotherapy. Nobody mentioned about Physiotherapy for so long. I am blessed to meet Dr.Palak. She understood my mental status and my actual shoulder problem and helped me out. I am Happy now. No pain. Started doing all my activities on my own. Now I am able to do my puja, can do my own chopping, cutting, earlier sharp pain was there in shoulder blade on cutting one onion also. Now I can sleep peacefully for whole night after 8 weeks of no sleep at all. She is very kind, I am extremely thankful to her. Best Physiotherapist I met. And great Doctors team at Aster RV hospital.

I am petrified of needles surgery and pain. I put off going to the surgery 2 years after I got to know about the fibroid in me. Finally not able to avoid it any more I reached out to Doctor smrithi at Aster. I was totally surprised to find her so approachable, kind and reassuring. I put to her countless questions which may have been very basic. She answered every one of them with a smile. She explained the procedure I had to undergo patiently. She finally gave me her number to whatsApp questions if I could think of more so she could answer them. I was amazed and felt very comfortable with her. Scheduled my surgery ASAP. Doctor Smrithi and Doctor Sunil Eshwar have done a wonderful job. I am now very happily recovering post surgery. Having a reassuring smile a kind word and a confident demeanor works wonders when one is petrified and full of questions. It is all we need to calm us down. ❤️ Heart Doctor with a ❤️ of gold Its believed that Doctors are tight lipped and consultations are academic and to the point .Our pulse rate spikes up when we see a tight lipped Doctor for a consultation.. The cardiologist I met was of a class apart.This is how the consultation went." Do you drink coz the report says u have some liver issue" " No Dr .I am a teetotaler' '" now I regret being one 'Without giving up the Dr said 'If you were not a teetotaler',u would have developed this complications 10 years before"On a lighter note the conversation went on like this " I have good news and bad news for you' 😢"let me hear the news in the same order Dr'" The good news is that Ur heart is fine and the bad news is that u have kept it to urself 🙂While carrying out the echo " Your heart is fine " "Dr my ECG tells a different story. like how they show in movies,it is showing straight line . the curtain is drawn "pat came the reply" if it is a straight line we wouldn't be talking 😂Its such Doctors make big difference in patients diagnosis and treatment.I would say its is just not consultation but counselling also🙂
