I am a 67 year old retired banking official who is a diabetic patient. In the month of November 2022, I had breathlessness and I visited Aster RV Hospital. The Doctors - Dr.Venkatesh S was very quick to diagnose the problem as Heart Failure and his treatment was instrumental in me coming out of a very critical condition. Dr.Venkatesh immediately did Angiogram and found that there were severe blockages and since my condition at that time was not that good, Dr.Venkatesh took a very right decision to treat me medically and allowed me enough time to gain strength to withstand heart bypass surgery. Later, I had an incident of irregular heart beats on 8th Feb 2023 and I immediately contacted Dr.Venkatesh S who was kind enough to give timely suggestion. I was then admitted to Aster RV and my pulse rate was first stabilized. Dr.Venkatesh never does anything unwantedly and his decisions are always backed by scientific evidence. I was then suggested a PET scan to check if my heart tissues are alive and only upon those findings, Dr.Venkatesh S suggested that heart bypass would be a good solution for my condition. Since my heart pumping was weak, Dr.Venkatesh S again using all his experience suggested to use IABP(Balloon) to take the load off my heart during surgery. This was a very critical decision and helped the Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon Dr.Divakar Bhat during the Surgery to control the heart. Dr.Venkatesh S is a very kind and approachable doctor who is always available to the patient and their attendants. He is methodical in his approach and never does anything unwantedly. He is a thorough gentleman and a great Cardiologist with excellent knowledge and a person with a touch of humanity. I will always be indebted to Dr.Venkatesh S for his great help to our family and he is a God Sent Angel to our family. Not only our case, we have seen so many patients and families being saved by his great acumen and skillset.

Dr.Venkatesh S also took a great decision of implanting ICD for my case which has the potential to be a life saver for patients like me. ICD Operation also was performed very well by his team.

One fine day, I realised that i had lost my hearing capability in one of my ears. Went to few doctors who advised steroid tablets which I was not fine with taking, however i took it for 3-4 days and then stopped it fearing side-effects. These doctors didnt guarantee that i will get back the hearing, another reason for me not to take the med. After around 15 days, I came across a video from Dr.Rohit talking about this issue where he mentioned that if you start treatment within 48 hours of losing your hearing, it can be completely reverted. Though 15 days had passed, I still thought of trying my luck and went and met the doctor. The doctor was so friendly and he explained the treatment so well that I was ok to take the steroid injections. Since it was a localized treatment, I was convinced by the doctor that the side effects will be hardly any. He answered each and every question of mine very patiently and made me so comfortable that i effortlessly went through the treament. He gave me so much of hope with the way he handled me. I went with 65% hearing loss and after 5 days of treatment, I got 68% hearing back. I could start hearing better. Doctor asked me to wait for another 1 month (without any medication) and check again. The audio metry results further went up by 75% which was a great improvement. I am convinced that this doctor can do miracles with just the way he takes care of his patients and would strongly recommend him for any ENT issue especially sudden hearing loss. The main point is that you shouldn't ignore this and go as soon as possible, ie within 48 hrs and he guarantees complete cure.
