It's true that God cannot be everywhere, so he has sent his Angels as DOCTORS with Excellence and Selflessness to us.
I found this entirely true with Dr. Kshama Kulkarni who had been our best hope in those toughest of times.
In 10th June 2021 My newborn son was detected with a VUR Grade 5. We tried to search for the best doctor a pediatric surgeon and after many Google searches my wife suggested meeting Dr. Kshama Kulkarni based on the positive reviews on various websites.
The Doctor is a totally down-to-earth personality whose primary purpose is to cure the disease and not to trouble the patient/family with unnecessary tests and procedures. She informed us in great detail the problem and the various kind of Surgical options available with pros & cons of each. This really helped us in understanding the procedure and also the risks involved.
However, as a pediatric Surgeon and during & post Surgery care Dr. Kshama Kulkarni role was most critical.
Her confidence in seeing the vision of the child post surgery journey was so clear that it gave us confidence.
Finally, once the surgery finished Dr. Kshama Kulkarni called us & explained the whole procedure went as per plan and the surgery was successful.
The most elating experience was that during our 20-day stay post-surgery there was not a single day when Dr. Kshama Kulkarni did not visit even during a Sunday she was there on time. I have not seen any doctors having that level of dedication.
Finally we got discharged on the 20th day as planned and are currently on a path of recovery and am glad to see my son normally.
We thank God and Dr. Kshama Kulkarni for their great support.
Please get in touch with me if you need any further feedback , I will be happy to speak with anyone if I can be of any help.
Thanks & Regards,
Parmeshwar Gound

We had a very bad experience with Doctor Manisha Munemane in Surya Hospital Wakad near Hinjewadi flyover Pune, it was nearly a life-threatening experience for my spouse and lots of mental trauma to our whole family.
We have been consulting Dr Manisha M by paying her hefty fees for few minutes since june, and on 17th Aug, we got schedule for Tubal ligation for my spouse. As requested, we went to Surya Hospital at 7 Am in the morning. After doing initial checkups and standard hospital procedure, my spouse was taken to OT at around 10:30 AM. Somewhere between 11:30 Am I am called by doctor in OT & ICU sections information that they had to do additional surgery as due to adhesion, lower bowel is rent/perforated, and another surgeon is operating, and she will have to go back in OT. Since she used all medical terms, I barely understood and, I checked if my spouse is ok and doing good. They mention yes, she is fine.
After an hour, I am again called in doctor briefing room (Surya Hospital) where they explained me that due to adhesion smaller intestine is rent and they had to open her stomach and do big surgery. Perforated nearly a 1 Cm and sticking done is nearly 3 CM.
I was completely taken by surprise, we came to Surya hospital for sterilization which in today’s world are performed by laparoscopic sterilization procedure, how it has perforated intestine. I was not given clear explanation, instead they were in hurry for damaged management. Till date she refused to accept that she had made a huge mistake and I am still unclear who performed the operation if she claimed to be an expert in OT.
My Spouse was asked to remain in hospital for 10 days and during these days we had very bad experience in Surya hospital. Hospital nurses etc are all trainees and have no experience how to act in patience room. Lots of noises in lobby, frequent interruption to patience room etc. *** **** ***** ** ***** ** ********** ** **** ** **** **** ********
During her stays, I further enquiry with our family doctors, I also read reports (which they refuse to handover to me) where it was clearly written due to mistake, they have perforated lower bowel. I asked a copy of that report in summary, which they refused to handover to me. Also, in Summary report they manipulated the outcomes and put that everything is aligned with husband. How can a husband (not a doctor) is going to recommend which operation is good for patience?
I approached Surya Hospital Admin with concerned that Dr Manisha has operated on my spouse without her consent that she will be doing open surgery and not laparoscopic sterilization. Yes, we were not informed that Dr Manisha will be doing open surgery and laparoscopic sterilization and she will perforate someone intestine. I have two children; both are normal delivery (yes it was not done in Surya hospital or with Dr Manisha M). Hospital Admin schedule meeting between Doctors and Us, however doctor is refused to accept it was her blunder and hospital was trying to justify her perspective.
I was forced to pay the bill which I agreed to pay by insurance only. **** **** ******* ***** ** ** ****** ** ****** ** ********** *** *********** ** ****** * **** *** **** *** ******* ***** ******** *** ** *** ********** ************** ***** ***** *** ******** ****** ****** **** ********* **** *** ****** *** *********** *** ***** *** *** *** ********** **** ** ** *********** ** *** **** ***** ** ****** ***** ******** ** *** *** ** ******** ** ** ***** *********** ** *** *** ****** ****** *** ******** ***************** ** ******** *** ***** **** ** **** ***** **** *** ** **** **** ********* **** *** *** ** **** *********

I recently entrusted Dr. Kshama Kulkarni with the care of my two-month-old baby, who required bilateral pyeloplasty surgery. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, my experience with Dr. Kulkarni and her team was exceptional.
Dr. Kulkarni's expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process. She took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and addressed all of my concerns with patience and empathy, which greatly reassured me as a parent.
During the surgery, Dr. Kulkarni demonstrated precision and skill, ensuring the best possible outcome for my baby. The post-operative care was also excellent, with clear instructions provided for medication, feeding, and follow-up appointments.
Not only did Dr. Kulkarni exhibit outstanding medical proficiency, but she also displayed genuine care and compassion towards my baby and our family. Her warmth and dedication made a challenging situation more manageable and instilled confidence in the care being provided.
Overall, I am immensely grateful to Dr. Kshama Kulkarni and her team for their exceptional care and expertise. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of pediatric urological surgical care.

Dr Kshama Kulkarni is a blessing for me as a parent- Surgeon par excellence. She operated on my 1.5 year old toddler for left undescended testis successfully at Surya Hospital, Wakad. I contacted her from Delhi first on telecon and was able to get good reassuring vibes ,as I talked to her about my toddlers undescended testis. She did reprimand us a bit, as parents for delaying the surgery- which is ideally done at 6 months for faster recovery. she opted for laproscopic surgery and as parents we trust her completely. if you are reading as parents. look no further. call her clinic and get the orchidopexy completed for your child's sake without delaying like me, hoping it will descend on its own. I spent about 1.4 lakh at Surya Hospital overall with a 24 hr stay in a room type, that allows 2 parents overnite, so that's your cost ball park. Surya is descent too. be mindful the hospital canteen will give milk at 8 am earliest the next day, but your toddler may be hungry earlier, since they fast prior to surgery. the Surya hospital pediatric Anesthesist is excellent too and gave Caudal anesthesia with consultation with surgeon Dr. Kshama, so my toddler was walking easy the next day in his hospital room without pain. Dr. Kshama is that good. bless your son to have a fast recovery too!

Highly experienced doctor and high counselling power. Madam performed surgery of our 8.5 years old son and he is recovering now. When we know the problem of our child as a parent we were shocked and tens, but after came in contact with madam, Kshama madam gave us confidence about the rectification after surgery. Although I am from out of Maharashtra, Doctor always guided us and provided responses for our all queries telephonically and through mail communications patiently. Kshama madam provides very good care for the patient and I would strongly recommend doctor for pediatric surgery and urological problems.

I am deeply concerned about the quality of care provided at Surya Hospital- Pune. During our recent stay in the ICU, it became evident that the standard of care was alarmingly low. The ICU, in reality, seemed more like a general ward with non-functional equipment. Amita Kaul and her staff are not open to feedback, if you raise concerns they will ask you to get discharged even in odd hours. ******** ******* *** ********* Avoid if you love your child.
Key Issues:
1. Lack of Supervision: The doctors in charge of the ICU were often unresponsive, **** **** **** ******** ****** ***** ******* This neglect is unacceptable, especially in such a critical care area.

I went to Dr. Kshama for my daughter's (Age 5 ) injury on face. She was admitted immediately on the same day and operated. The injury was complex and I was not sure how it would be operated on. The surgery was done from inside the mouth. My daughter recovered in a very short time. The doctor is highly knowledgeable, professional and answers all your questions. I would definitely recommend her. Thankyou very much !!
