For about 6 months I had a severe radial pain in my left hand and numbness of my 2 left palm fingers. after consulting my family doctor I got the MRI done which showed a compressed root nerve coming out bet C7 and C8 vertebras. there was problem also between C5 and C6. Since I was scared of doing a spinal surgery, I avoided it for 6 months and tried all the possible therapies available in Pune. I spent lot of money for doing that. But there was no relief and the pain got further aggravated. That landed me with Dr Abhijit Pawar at Synergy clinic, Baner. Dr Pawar had studied my condition and also the MRI and advised me to do the surgery since that was the only alternative. He also mentioned that these days, due to technology and new acquired skills, spinal surgeries are very safe with minimal risk. He also patiently gave lot of time for explaining me the details and that comforted me. The surgery (microscopic) was done by Dr Abhijit Pawar in last week of April 2016. It lasted for 4 hours. I had 2 weeks of post surgery discomfort and 4 weeks of travel restrictions. After that I am now completely recovered and leading a healthy life with all my daily chores. My thanks to Dr Pawar whose skills and advice made a positive difference in my health.

I am happy to share this review and would expect people to get most appropriate treatment from a very friendly doctor, Dr. Abhijit Pawar. I was having sheer pain with sign of emerging numbness on several parts of my right leg. With lots anxiety, I reached out to Dr. Pawar through his very helpful team of junior doctors, like Dr. Vivek and Dr. Sachin. Without any further delay, I had my discectomy done for the disk herniation between L5 and S1. From here onwards, it was simply a magic. The pain disappeared in no time. I got discharged on the very next day of my surgery. Though I was told precisely the after-surgery precautions. It’s a rest time for a month and then I am back to office. I thank Dr Pawar for his very cordial behavior and all ears listening to a person in pain, rather in distress. I also like to extend my gratitude to his team of young doctors with full of energy to hear any issues any time. They are really a team of professionally sound doctors with lots of human touch which today you seldom get in medical fraternity. God bless them.

My Father age 67 had chronic back pain for almost 6 months. He started limping with unbearable pain while walking. During these 6 months we consulated many doctors some suggested physiotherapy. After 1 month from getting operated for C3-C7 and L3-L4-L5 my father can walk upto 2 kms with ZERO pain and with ZERO support completely independent. Earlier even going to the washroom was painful. Dr Abhijit Pawar is very approachable and after having a word with his other patients his suggestion would be in the best interest of his patients. He will suggest surgery only if it is required. He has given my father a new life where his not dependent on anyone 🙏

Hello myself Dorina here I would like to share my experience about my neck prb which I had from past 4 yrs....the pain started in the 2015 as I fell down from the steps...I went to the local doctor he gave me injection and some tablets within a mnth I was alright again in the yr 2016,2017and 2018 I had the same prb but different episodes same pain same treatment and I use to be fine within a month but in the yr 2018 I had gone to Imagica and in one of the ride I got a very bad jerk in my neck which was unbearable, for sometime I thought I don’t have any neck I,my mom and my fiance were worried the nxt day we went to the spine specialist doctor in bombay he told me to do MRI and after seeing my MRI he told me that u have to undergo surgery as soon as possible then we visited the other doctor and in this way we visited 4 to 5 spine specialist doctors they also told me the same thing that u have to undergo surgery but after hearing I was not at all prepared for the surgery because I couldn’t see the confidence level in them....being 24yrs girl I was very scared hearing the word surgery and that also spine surgery after taking all the doctors opinion I discussed my problem with my uncle and he suggested me one doctor he is Dr. Abhijit Pawar I went to this doctor he saw my MRI reports films and explained me so well I could see that confidence level in him and after hearing to him I quickly took my decision of getting operated and told my parents about it....then again we went for a follow up visit to Dr.Abijit pawar and told him that we are ready for the surgery he gave us the date and also told me dont worry everything will be fine and I’ll give u 100% result on 21st November 2018 I underwent a surgery and yes he proved himself as a great spine specialist as its been 2 months now for my surgery and am doing great..... he was like god to me and I thank my Almighty god and Dr.Abhijit for all his great work....treatment satisfaction I would rate it as 100/100 I am so happy with the treatment....😊

I(Rajesh Mehta) had visited Dr Abhijit Pawar at Kokilaben Hospital along with my father(Dr H N Mehta) for the spinal issues due to which he was unable to walk properly for more than 10mins. Dr Abhijit saw his MRI report and Xray and adviced to undergo a L4 L5 MIS TLIF surgery. He briefed us very properly about the details of the surgery. My father was a bit hesistant about the thought of the surgery but after consulting with Dr. Abhijit he gained enough confidence to undergo the surgery. Would highly recommend Dr. Abhijit Pawar for Spine related treatment. He explains the medical terms well, makes it sound so casual as if there is nothing to worry at all which gives relief to the patient. I had consulted him for Spondylolisthesis. The treatment and surgery procedure went smooth. Thanks to the doctor. He is approachable, pleasant and communicates clearly.

I always had a fear as there is a myth that one should never do a spine surgery. But Dr. Abhijit explained the process well and convinced me to opt for it.

my wife was having savior pain in back and hence we visited to the clinic.it was really great experience. The doctor in person is really good and the clinic is very professional you have one stop solution for your problems and don't need to roam around for different things like xray medicine and physiotherapy.

its really very professional experience with physiotherapist also. they are really very good and very professional --- the entire team is taking care of their patent very well and guiding well and just collecting money which some of other clinic do.

My history: Lots of pain in the hand & wrists. Some more minor neck and back pain, but it was bad enough that I had trouble sleeping. I have a pinched nerve in my neck, which gets blocked

again in my hands and my wrist.

First visit: Absolutely amazing. My neck pain -- vanished. Then I got a bit sore later (part of the healing process). Hands? So much better. Not as much tingling. 

2nd visit: Just kept getting better. I feel like I like I already have better posture because I am not hunching from the pain. Thank you very much doctor, you are the best, I have never encountered such courteous doctor

My wife had a serious leg injury due to bike accident. Because of Dr. Pawar's prompt diagnosis and remedial actions, she is recovering very fast. I have lived in Germany for 6 years. I can assure all that the facilities in this clinic are as modern and clean as in the west. Moreover support staffs are very caring, polite and knowledgeable.

Best of all, Dr Tarikh, physio of Pune FC and Kerala Blasters also practices in the same clinic who took care of the rehabilitation process. Now, within 1 week my wife is able to stand on her feet and walk slowly.
