I visited the doctor for counselling on severe depression, OCD and psychotic features of my illness. Because of OCD I was having difficulties with managing my negative thoughts. Through CBT and other methods of treatment which she provided, I was able to overcome those thougths and replace those negative thougths with positive thougths. Also, she was completely non-judgemental about my symptoms and talked in a polite and understanding manner. From my experience with her therapy, I would recommend anyone needing therapy to her.

Dr. Barkha Patel is a lovely person! She was very understanding about my problems. I was alone and had nobody to talk with about my problems. I was going through a lot at that time. I had been depressed for a very long time even after being in a relationship with someone. She made me realise what went wrong and how to tackle it. I did what she said and now im free from the illness i had. I wish I had met her earlier. I will totally recommend her. I'm so glad i had her as a friend not just a doctor.
