Unison Medicare and Research Centre offers comprehensive healthcare services for Infectious Diseases and Adult Medicine. It was established in 1995 with the main goal of offering modern up-to-date patient care while keeping the practice holistic, compassionate, and ethical. All services including medical consultation, laboratory, radiology, and counseling are offered under one roof and usually all in a single visit. Infectious Disease is a specialized area of medicine that deals with the management of all kinds of infections including fevers, tropical diseases like malaria, dengue, viral hepatitis (hepatitis B or C for example), TB, and sexually transmitted diseases like HIV. Adult immunization and travel medicine are the other services offered here. This center is really proud of its family of patients and staff, with almost 10,000 patients having benefited; and we successfully strive to ensure that this family keeps growing healthier and happier with every passing year.Our History: After over a decade of experience in managing patients at the Government-run, J.J.Hospital, handling crucial public health issues and creating awareness on health-seeking behaviour, Secretary General of the Peoples Health Organisation(India) and specialist in Skin, Sexually Transmitted Diseases & HIV/AIDS, Dr.I.S.Gilada, established this clinical centre on 5th February 1995. Unison Medicare and Research Centre thus came into existence as India’s first comprehensive health center for the humane and holistic care of patients without discrimination, irrespective of their diseases. Unison means "in sync with all". Initially started as a comprehensive HIV/AIDS care centre, the first such clinic in India, we soon realized the dearth of similar services for other infectious diseases as well. It therefore expanded its domain to incorporate management of Infectious Diseases, Adult Health and Adult Immunisation.
