Dr. Madhavi Borra

Dr Borra is that kind of pediatrician who is like a family doctor whom you have known for long. Treating kids require compassion, empathy & patience. We were looking to change our pediatrician and somehow came to know about Dr. Borra, luckily her hospital is very close to where we stay. It was for our 20 months old son that we went to visit her, he was vomiting, had cough and loose motions. Being our first visit and not knowing what to expect ( we didn't have any prior reference/ knowledge), I must say we got more than we could have asked for. She was very patient and friendly with our son and spent some time on developing repo with him which worked like a charm as our son was utmost comfortable. She gave us 45mins -1 hour of time on our first visit discussing right from his sickness to diets. She doesn't give unnecessary medicines and antibiotics to infants unless absolutely needed as the case was with us. Moreover, equally good part is that she is available on WhatsApp should we need any advice or update her about son's condition which makes us very relaxed as parents. Not to mention that our son was doing fine within 5-6 days as she had indicated although we had to visit again and had him to be injected to stop vomiting. We were there last week again due to our son's sickness (loose motion) , despite my insisting on antibiotic ( My father who lives in a different city is a surgeon and hence I have a privilege to speak to his pediatrics friends on phone for their advice if needed) she refused to administer it without doing a lab test which came all good. He is doing perfectly alright now. Strongly recommended if you were looking for a peditrican for your children.

MARVELLOUS doctor!!!

We consulted Dr. Madhavi Borra when my son (13 months old) was in need of antibiotic dose through a cannula. She reviewed the need thoroughly and administered the dosage with the utmost care. During the administration, my son was absolutely fine just because of her experience and the care she applied while giving the dosage through the cannula. Since then we visited multiple times for the treatments like cold, cough, skin rash, periodic vaccine and etc., She is very precise in diagnosing the illness and her explanation is very clear and easy to understand. She spends and provides adequate time to review and shares healthy tips to avoid unnecessary medication. During my last visit, my son has very bad throat and swab culture test came positive, even then she educated us on my son’s activities and asked us to wait for self improvement by following general tips. As she explained, gradually throat infection got cured and we have not used any medicines. She is very friendly and welcome nature with the kids, and at the same time, she examines and observes all the necessary vitals. I strongly recommend Dr. Madhavi for her professionalism and precise diagnosis.
