Fibrous dysplasia is bony disorder in which bone breaks and create deformity
That deformity is progressive
Most affected bone is femur
Particularly in this case we did femoral osteotomy
We took wedge from bone then rim the canal.
Made canal proximal and distal femur
Then introduced male road from proximal femur
Then deformity reduced and female road introduced
Deformity is nicely corrected
Telescopic nailing is ideal choice for implant
Patient having deformity on opposite sides also
Previously femoral plating was done but implant failure and my leads progressive deformity
It converts into coxa vara deformity
