sciatic neuritis is described as pain along the sciatic nerve that radiating from lower back to Thighs- knee and till the ankle joint . typically on either side ,in rare cases it found on both side of the leg. Common reason which we found is herniation,buldging at lumbar vertebrae resulting in compression of sciatic nerve at the level of L4 L5  S1 S2 S3 which are the root of it sciatica nerve.

as per Ayurveda its called as Gridhrasi caused by vitiation of vat dosh in the body.

Symptoms 

pain in the lower back -buttocks-hip and leg. 

pain can be mild to severe mostly radiating ,

in some cases sharp pain is present 

difficulty in walking and sit to stand poster. 

muscle stiffness and weakness.

due to the nerve compression leg numbness or pin and needle pain will be present .

burning sensation is also seen in many patients.
