Before working out, I stretch. In cooking, some ingredients need to be chopped in advance. At night, before I go to bed, I do my night routine. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

You see, some additional preparations are needed to make certain activities more effective, efficient or tolerable. Today, I’ll share some of my pre-work routines for a more focused and relaxed atmosphere: ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

♦ Write a to-do list the night before

⁣⁣⁣♦ Tidy my desk⁣⁣⁣

♦ Set my intention upon waking up (What do I want to accomplish today?)⁣⁣⁣

♦ Meditate⁣⁣⁣

♦ Stretch (yoga or Qi Gong) ⁣⁣⁣

♦ Depending on the time, I make sure to eat something. ⁣⁣⁣

♦ Prepare a beverage (glass of water or tea for me) ⁣⁣⁣

♦ Set up the ambiance of my workspace by turning on my Himalayan salt lamp.⁣⁣⁣

♦ Play a calming music⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

These may sound a lot but since it’s already a habit, I don’t mind doing them every single day. These little steps are simple yet effective in helping me enter The Zone. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
