Ans: Invisalign uses 3-D computer imaging technology to depict the complete treatment plan from the initial position to the final desired position from which a series of custom-made, clear "aligners" are produced. In many cases your last aligner will be your provisional retainer, until your retention option is determined. You can discuss other retention options with your orthodontist in order to determine what really suits you.
