Following are simple yet important small tips that will help you to have a sound and deep sleep
- Turn off all the lights before sleeping.
- Avoid screen usage atleast 1 hour before sleep. Feeling bored? you can ping on to some music or read an interesting chapter.
- Take a light meal. keep a gap of 2-3 hours between your last meal and sleep.
- Try to do some physical activity 30-45 minutes post dinner.
- Take a shower with warm water. Smooth muscle relaxation will improve your sleep quality.
- Avoid coffee, tea or tobacco after 5 pm. They will activate you brain.
- If you have difficulty in sleeping empty stomach, have small portion like chickpea or dry fruits before sleep.
