Problems with too much milk consumption

Milk is low in iron, so too much milk leads to iron deficiency. Cow’s milk has calcium and casein which inhibits the absorption of iron from other foods, further increasing the probability of iron deficiency. Milk provides energy, so the child does not eat other foods and is deprived of other micronutrients. High protein intake from cow’s milk also place an infant at increased risk of obesity in later childhood or adolescence. nfant atincreased risk of obesity in later childhood or adolescence.
