Diet plays a very crucial role at the beginning stage of infancy. A proper nutrient dense diet is very

much essential to be given to the toddlers to check health issues from happening  on near future.  

            From 6months plus onwards a small kid should be introduced with semi liquid to semi solid then

             to solid foods gradually.Give foods in small amounts on each 2.5 hrs gap for enhancing better

              digestion and to avoid digestive issues.  

                                           Healthy tips to follow  :- 1) Add on good sources of proteins in veg sources all pulses

                                                          & legumes, soybeans or soy products like soymilk or tofu,nuts like almonds/walnuts/pistachios etc in easily digestible forms and animal proteins food sources like

milk & milk products like curd,paneer etc. All foods should be given at the beginning stage fully soft cooked

,mashed or pureed form.  gradually give in semi solid then jump to solid form after 1yr of age.

                                                              2) Cereals and cereal products should be given in well cooked and

                                                                    pureed forms at beginning stage of infancy.                    

                                                               3) Add on fruits as clear juice form or stewed or well pureed form

                                                                   at beginning stage.

                                                                 4) Non-veg food items like eggs can be given(egg yolk-only-mashed form) at 8plus months,from 1plus year onwards chicken or fish can be given soft cooked and easily

digestible form(not spicy/deep fried or oily/gravy form) .  

                                                                5) Try to give seasonal vegs in soft cooked form and pureed form

                                                                     or in the form of veg khichdi pressure cooked,soft cooked and

                                                                     mashed form.    

                                                                   6) Water should also be given in required amount depending

                                                                         upon his or her age  to replenish the baby's body.
