WHAT IS ROOT CANAL TREATMENT?

Root canal is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth. The procedure involves removing the damaged area of the tooth (the pulp), cleaning and disinfecting it and then filling and sealing it.  Sometimes a pimple develops near the tooth. This pimple will often go away and then come back.This is called a fistula. You may notice pus draining from the fistula. The fistula is a sign that there is an infection and your body is draining it out through the pimple. There is usually no pain in this situation, but you may notice a bad taste or odor in your mouth.

CAUSES 

The common causes affecting the pulp are a cracked tooth.A deep cavity.

Repeated dental treatment to the tooth or trauma.

PROCEDURE
