Negative thoughts generally start with just a feeling or thoughts or sentences spoken by someone else. Interestingly, if we continuously hear 'Try, Try, Try Again', we will definitely not fall into negative thoughts.

Here are some simple tips to overcome negative thoughts:

1) Live in Present. Not in Past or Future 

It's easy to fall into negative thoughts when you think about what people may say or think about you. But, the truth is people really dont have time to focus on you. So, don't stay in the past. Enjoy each moment of life.

2) Refresh Yourself

Feeling refreshed will naturally keep you and make you think positively. You can go for a massage, exercise, be kind, sing, dance or do anything that makes you happy. It's important to give a little love to yourself, time and again to stay happy and positive. 

3) Keep Smiling

Smiling helps you change your mood and relieve stress. You also feel lighter because it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown.  

4) Surround Yourself with Positive Energy

Surround yourself with positive people and their positive energy. Cutting off people who are always negative or criticizing everything will not only help you stay away from negative energy and negative thoughts, it will help you stay calm and grounded too.

5) Meditation

 Last but not least; meditation is such a wonderful way to overcome negative thoughts. Focus on your breath and and enjoy every bit of it.
