Teeth grinding also called bruxism, is a common dental condition where a person clenches or grinds their teeth unconsciously. It often occurs during sleep (sleep bruxism) but can also happen during the day due to stress.Many patients are unaware of night teeth grinding until they experience jaw pain, headaches, or visible tooth wear. Common Causes of Bruxism

  1. Stress and anxiety
  2. Sleep disorders (including sleep apnea)
  3.  Bite problems (malocclusion)
  4. Excess caffeine or alcohol
  5. Smoking
