Fat freezing or fat reduction, a treatment which will eliminate people’s fat cells, and Cryolipolysis is a promising procedure for nonsurgical fat reduction and body contouring and presents an alternative to liposuction and other, more invasive methods. Cryolipolysis is one of the most recent forms of non-invasive fat reduction to emerge.

The most common area treated is the lower abdomen, the sides, love handles, saddlebags, back fat or loose knees. This is not a procedure for weight loss or for people who are suffering from obesity. It works best for people who have isolated pockets of resistant fat.

Cryolipolysis can also be used to reduce male breasts but cannot be used to treat female breast tissue. Revive began with one Cryolipolysis machine and added a second so customers could have two target areas treated at once. Cryolipolysis referred to as — fat freezing, or “controlled cooling” to eliminate fat cells without any risk and timeout required by surgery. Throughout the treatment, customers recline whereas doctors affix a plastic suction cup, sort of like an upholstery attachment to a vacuum cleaner to the targeted space. The cup size and shape vary, looking on the part of the body being treated is hooked up by a hose to a machine that hums because it sucks the tissue into the cup and cools it. Treatment lasts for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the targeted area.
