Hi all,

INTRODUCTION

Facial dullness, pores, scars and loosening - all can be very effectively reduced by this combination of technology Microneedling therapy (collagen induction therapy) and Platelet Rich Plasma therapy.

Dermaroller: it contains a rolling barrel covered by 96 or 192 needles with length 1.5-2.5mm.

The picture shows before and after photos of 30 plus age male with significant glow, tightening of the skin and reduction in pores and scares. 2 sessions were done at 6 weeks intervals and still more sessions being given after patient desire..

Procedure

In PLATELET RICH PLASMA THERAPY,10 ml blood is withdrawn from arm, processed in a centrifuge machine and PRP is prepared.

A NUMBING CREAM IS USUALLY APPLIED for around 1 hour BEFORE procedure TO DECREASE THE associated DISCOMFORT.

Microneedling involves use of DERMAROLLER causing MICROINJURIES IN DEEP SKIN- DERMIS. PRP already prepared is spread onto the scalp or face and microneedling done to send PRP in its required place- Dermis. Multiple channels opened during dermaroller help in penetration of PRP very effectively.

How It Works

A new wave of healing cycle is induced  from multiple microwounds produced with new COLLAGEN and ELASTIN regenration which are responsible for tightening, lifting and plumping effect; THUS HELPING FILLING SCARS, PORES AND LIFT.

The regenerative potential of PRP is due to numerous proteins contained within alpha granules of the platelets. PRP concentrated with various growth factors has the potential to enhance the recruitment, proliferation and differentaiation of cells including stem cells involved in tissue regeneration and remodeling. IT IS ALSO KNOWN AS VAMPIRE LIFT AS BLOOD IS USED FOR FACIAL SKIN TIGHTENING.

Creams in form of sunscreens, vitamin C and retinoids are also going on to maintain results.

(PRP other main use in dermatology is hair growth stimulation where it acts on stem cells in hair follicle)
