They require the least removal of teeth and absolutely less or no tooth preparation for the procedure. This gives them a priority above the major types of veneers.
Lumineers are thinner than other types of veneers and resemble the thickness of a contact lens. This shows that they are actually easy to apply and a quick procedure too. But they cannot replace the results provided by the orthodontic treatments. So care must be taken while choosing the cosmetic dental procedures that any major space or occlusal default should be fixed only with the orthodontic procedure. Patients who have more gaps and are not willing to opt for metallic braces are recommended for the traditional veneers.
