Q :- You are doing implants more than 2 decades, what’s New Now ?
Answer : Two decades before when we did implants, the science was growing. German Implant systems were famous and there was problem in getting component and laboratory support was poor. Also there were only traditional X-Rays to visualise the Bone. So, only very trained clinicians used to do implants, practically very few of us in India.
Q :- Is implant safe in old age?
Answer :- Yes! Dental Implants are safe, we have done till 90 year old. If patients are physically active with controlled health problems, they are comfortably treated. I always say, dental implantology is not a major surgery it is “ precision surgery”. Today it is very predictable & our success rate is 99.5% , as we practice scientific implantology and place only scientific, well documented implant systems having used more than 2 decades in the world.
