CHYLURIA
· Chyluria is a condition in which chyle ( lymphatic fluid ) is present in your urine. Chyle turns urine milky white , which can sometimes cause vitamin deficiencies and malnutrition.
· Chyluria is characterized by continuous milky urine with the presence of Urinary Retention , Haematochyluria and unintentional weight loss.
CAUSES :
1. The parasitic infection can lead to obstruction of peripheral lymphatic vessels and increased pressure within the vessels causing collateral flow of the lymph.
2. Chyluria is a rare condition in which lymphatic fluid leaks into the kidneys and turns your urine milky white .

A CASE OF CHYLURIA WITH RECURRENT UTI
1. A Female aged 69 years had been admitted to Hospital Twice for complaints of chyluria and severe Urinary Tract Infection.
2. She had been to Hospital in May 2023with severe chills , episodic fever spikes and complete urine retention for 2days .
3. As there was urine Retention with Fever she had been put on Foleys catheter , with passing of milky white ( puslike urine )
4. With the above complaints , patient was obese and Diabetic.
5. On further Investigation of Urine analysis , she had Plenty of pus cells with occult blood present and albumin in urine.
6. She was Conservatively Managed at Hospital twice with similar episodes and recurrence after every 20 days .
