How do you think the infectious organisms and foreign invaders like viruses and bacteria are kicked out of our body? Or how does our body fight against them?
It is the Immune system which supports the body in safeguarding and getting rid of such unwanted and harmful microorganisms. The immune system generally works when antigens (foreign substances that invade the body) are detected, they form soldiery of several types of cells to recognize them and respond.
A condition in which your immune system mistakenly attacks your body discerning an organ or tissue to be undesirable is known as Autoimmune disease. The immune system apparently releases proteins called auto-antibodies that attack healthy cells (predominantly epidermis and arthrosis). Conventionally, the Immune system can distinguish among the foreign cells and own cells.
The repetitive and early symptoms of Autoimmune diseases are:
- Swelling and redness
- Weight loss
- Fatigue
- Muscle aches
- Hair fall
- Numbness in the hands and feet
- Low-grade fever
- Skin allergy
