Ignorance is a bliss; Not in cases of a lump in breast wherein, early diagnosis is the key to the cure of breast cancer. Delay in diagnosis in cases of breast cancer is mainly because females are hesitant to tell anyone.
Every female should have a basic training of Breast Self Examination (BSE). Biopsy of the lump is done on OPD basis (Trucut Needle Biopsy). The report comes in 2-3 days. It helps in differentiating between good and bad lesions; Benign and malignant tumours.
