How to care for my teeth during braces treatment?

Braces treatment puts an additional responsibility on you to take more care of cleanliness of your teeth. Regular mouth rinsing, twice brushing, intradental brush, excessive intake of water and regular visit to your orthodontist.

How to proceed with treatment?

Generally to begin your orthodontist will take your profile pictures, request old photographs, Full mouth xray / OPG, lateral cephalogram, models of your teeth or other things as per depending on your case.

Your orthodontist will call you every 3-4 weeks to change the wire and make adjustments to fine tune  the movement of your teeth in desired position.

What happens after the treatment?

When your teeth have moved in to the desired position braces are removed and teeth scaled and polished. Most of the patients have to wear a retainer for some time; a kind of non- visible appliance that holds the teeth in desired position to prevent them from going back in original position.
