A basic skincare routine entails five key products: cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen (during the day). Although there is no universal formula, this general overview provides an initial structure for helping create your skincare routine.

Cleanser is the first step to your skincare routine. Similar to how soap washes away bacteria from our hands, cleanser acts as the initial product that clears our skin from germs, dust, and oils that accumulate externally throughout the day, while simultaneously providing hydration. Regardless of skin type, all cleansers should dissolve oils and kill bacteria without causing irritation or damage. Cleanser should be used at least once a day. If you have oily skin, use it both in the morning and before going to bed.  Let it sit on your face for at least 20 seconds. Afterwards, rinse with cold water to reduce redness.

While this isn’t a necessary step, an antioxidant serum or cream can also benefit your skin in the mornings. These are products that contain facial acids like vitamin C, E or ferulic acid.

After applying serum, you can move on to the next skincare step: moisturizing. No matter what type of skin you have, or what issues you’re looking to address, moisturizer is essential for healthy-feeling, hydrated skin. While moisturizers come in an array of formats—from lightweight gels to rich creams—we recommend opting for a non-comedogenic lotion that hydrates without weighing the skin down.

Protecting your skin from ultraviolet (UV) rays is an important part of a morning skin care routine. Use a product with at least SPF 30 to shield your skin from ultraviolet radiation. Some moisturizers, concealers and foundations contain SPF, but it's still best to apply a separate facial sunscreen

Choose the Right Skin Routine as per your Skin Type!!

For Dry Skin - Dry skin lacks sufficient moisture and can appear dull, rough, and flaky, with more visible fine lines. It may also feel tight, itchy, uncomfortable.

Your skin’s natural moisture barrier (formally known as the stratum corneum) plays a crucial role in filtering out harmful toxins and helping to prevent dryness. This is why, for those with dry skin, maintaining a healthy skin barrier can be especially important.

To help relieve these symptoms of dryness, you need to look for skincare products that contain beneficial ingredients for dry skin. Here are a few key ingredients to look out for nourishing skincare routine for dry skin: Hyaluronic acid , Ceramides, Niacinamide ,Marine & Botanical Complex, Glycerin.

Choose -  cleansers that are gentle and fragrance-free. Fragrance chemicals may worsen dryness or cause skin irritation in some people. Avoid long, hot showers. Treat your dry skin gently and avoid harsh scrubbing or rubbing.

Apply moisturizer regularly to help relieve dry skin. Doing so within five minutes of bathing, onto slightly damp skin, can be especially beneficial for locking in moisture.

Apply sunscreen daily with broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, in addition to taking sun protection measures like wearing protective clothing and seeking shade during peak hours. Unprotected ultraviolet (UV) exposure may contribute to skin damage and dry skin.

For Oily Skin, look for gentle, non-drying cleansers that are formulated specifically for oily skin. Foaming cleansers are often the preferred choice for oily skin, since these formulas can thoroughly remove excess oil from the skin’s surface. Featuring niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and three essential ceramides, this gel-based cleanser is formulated to deeply cleanse and remove oil without disrupting the skin’s protective barrier (which can leave skin feeling tight or dry).

For Combination Skin - Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid that helps gently exfoliate to soften and smooth the skin. Hyaluronic acid helps retain the skin’s natural moisture. Niacinamide helps calm skin. Ceramides help maintain and restore the skin barrier to help lock in moisture.
