Treat your face to these three quick fixes for face packs right from your kitchen!

Tomatoes, ice cubes, and honey:

Late for the party and can’t find a face pack? That’s why it’s handy to have a frozen tray of tomato pulp in your freezer. When in need just take a dollop of honey, melt the ice cube in it, and apply it on your face. Wait till dry, wash off, and pat dry. This not only gives you an instant glow by reducing your tan but also makes your skin supple.

Banana, curd, and honey:

Does the combination sound like a dessert to you? Well, it’s time you looked at these three ingredients differently. Mash a tablespoon of ripe banana and add a spoon of homemade curd. Mix the two thoroughly with a dollop of honey till you have a fine paste and leave it on your face for 15 minutes. Once dry, rinse off and pat dry. The antibacterial properties of honey, conditioning properties of curd, and mild bleaching properties of banana combine to give you a fresh glow.

Turmeric, sugar, and honey:

Get a scrub, cleanser, and mask... all in one! Mix one tablespoon of honey and granulated sugar in a small bowl. Add a pinch of turmeric, a teaspoon of coconut oil/ olive oil and mix thoroughly. Apply the paste on your face and leave the pack on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and towel dry. You can always make a thicker paste and use it as a scrub. To get rid of blackheads and dead cells, work the scrub in circular motions. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water.
