See still you need to breast feed along with complimentary feed for your baby ,this time your weight reduction plan will impact directly or indirectly to your baby health. For weight reduction you need to walk everyday for at least 6 month with proper sleep and low calorie diet. I will suggest if possible than postpone your weight loose plan for next 6 month after that   you can try.

Hi, I understand your concern to lose weight but as you are breastfeeding the baby it is also important to not compromise on the nutrients while doing so. Weight loss is a process and it has to be done the right way to ensure it is sustainable and long-lasting. Instead of a strong diet I would suggest for a healthy, nutritionally adequate weight loss plan and hence a personalized diet session is highly recommended for you as it takes into account your lifestyle, routine, eating habits, medications, medical conditions if any, sleep, stress, physical activity, etc. This helps us in identifying the gap areas and correcting them accordingly. As a start following guidelines can be helpful - 1. Set in a routine for sleep, meals and exercise. It will be difficult for a sleep routine with a 6 month old baby to develop but we can always try 2. Never skip meals and eat balanced meals 3. Incorporate protein rich foods such as dals, pulses, low-fat dairy, non-veg in every meal that you take 4. Exercise daily for 45 minutes 5. Drink 2-3 liters of water daily 6. Avoid sugar, sweets, processed, packaged food and fried food

Hello. Weight loss after delivery requires proper diet , simple daily exercise, back support belt and multivitamin supplements. You should be careful with your weight loss process so it doesn’t affect your breastfeeding. Take 3 litres of water daily, eat fresh fruits and raw vegetables as a meal, cut down on oily/spicy foods/roti/rice. Start simple home exercise. A detailed assessment is necessary to provide a suitable diet plan and supplement that works for you
Next Steps
Consult on practo between 9-11 am for further advice
