hello, you can start brushing his teeth as soon as the first tooth erupts in the mouth. initially use a cloth or your finger to clean using warm water. Brush his teeth until he is capable of doing it himself. Also get a fluoride treatment done when he grows little more older.

Teeth brushing should be started when the first tooth is seen in the mouth. The parent should brush the child's teeth until the child is capable of self brushing. Even if the child starts brushing on it's own, parental guidance is essential.

Brushing for a kid should be started from 6months of age even if teeth are not erupted. Brushing should be done with finger at that time. This increases the blood circulation in the gums which will help the tooth to erupt easily. Later when teeth erupts, brush with a soft brush(small size kids brush) and kids fluoride toothpaste. Even finger brushes are available in the market for easy brushing.

Hi, its high time to make your kid start brushing his teeth. Nowadays different kinds of toothbrushes are available for infants and kids. Choose the toothbrush with soft bristles and small head which is designed for kids. Use kids toothpaste having no fluoride content or very minimal fluoride content to brush his teeth since they often swallow the toothpaste. Use no more than pea-sized amount of toothpaste. Brushing twice daily is advisable.
