Serum Vit D levels to be tested and further decision to be made based on report. Consult with reports. If vitamin in normal range then you can stop taking it and no need of consultation. Vit D supplimentation is not required for lifetime.

What was your level of Vit D when you started, or you were advised Vit D without blood test? If advised without blood test, you may do the test now and if it is 30 n mol/ L , you may start daily dose of 4000 IU of Vit D. If it is less, please continue with the same dose.
