Routine tests were done on father as part of a package in lab , hemoglobin: 11.4 and vitamin b12  came173 ( reference range: 211 to 946) Consulted physician he gave neurbion forte tablet once a day for one month for hemoglobin he said not to worry, Is it ok? Or should injections be given because b12 low

Seems alright, please continue oral b12 tablets. Hb seems okay. Consume more iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables, chicken etc Repeat hb after 6 months.

No need of i/v injections.  Continue as per doctor advice.  Prescription is perfect.  Dnt do doctor shopping.

Hi dear The doctor has prescribed the right medicine . Injections are usually prescribed only if the person has lot of pain or other symptoms or if the levels are very low otherwise oral tablets works fine Kindly consult in case of further query
