Vit deficiency and triglyceride high
My blood report shows vit d deficient at 9ng/ml...and vit b12 at 178pg/ml. Also the triglyceride is 451, hdl is 27 and vldl is 90 which are high. Can you suggest some medicines for cholestrol and some supplements for vit deficiency. Thanks.

Hi For vitamin d deficiency , vitamin B12 , triglycerides, hdl and for Vldl cholestrol levels you need to take supplementation for vitamin d3, B12 and some other medicines relating to your cholestrol, triglycerides, LDL and Vldl levels under strict doctors guidance and supervision. From diet point of view for triglycerides, cholestrol,Vldl and LDL and for good HDL you need to adopt a diet containing omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids or EFA'S ( Essential Fatty Acids) such as walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds, avocados, sea fish like salmon and macarel, complex carbs like whole cereal grains, whole pulses, high fiber diets, mono and poly unsaturated fatty acids such as diets rich in MUFA'S and PUFA'S are recommended .. Healthy cooking oils like unrefined and raw til oil, safflower oil, sunflower, groundnut, soyabean oil , olive oil to be used for home cooking..early dinner, locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, leafy vegetables, high fiber diets, bran, millets like Ragi, bajra etc to be consumed, oat porridge, skimmed milk, low carbs, moderate protein, low fat diets are recommended.. Coming to lifestyle..regular brisk walking both morning and evening around 30 to 45 mins is a must, taking steps up and down daily, aerobics, yoga aasanaas and surya namaskar both times is recommended...not sitting much, No to sedentary lifestyle..No to sleep immediately after any meals.. No to outside junk, fast, processed and packaged foods, No to instant foods, No oily , fatty and deep fried foods, No to red meats, No to hydrogenated vegetable oils like dalda and vanaspathi etc.. For vitamin d .. exposure to sun everyday at any time for about minimum 15 min to 45 mins is best.. For vitamin B12..previous day cooked rice soaked in water overnight..to be consumed the next day morning as breakfast with buttermilk and onion..which helps in getting vitamin B12 for vegetarians ...
Next Steps
please consult doctor for advise on taking medication..for the above problems..
Health Tips
well balanced diets containing more of EFA's like DHA and EPA containing omega 3's for heart health..wrt to cholestrol and triglycerides, LDL and vldl etc.. for good cholesterol HDL more physical activities are recommended through out the day and daily.. plenty of water around 2 to 3 litres as per outside climate, exposure to daily sun, healthy Lifestyle modifications are the key ..
