Veins are not visible for IV Injection
One of Nurse informed that my mother has no visible veins in Hand. VERY less in hand and I had faced this for mother many times in hospital... What is the reason and how can she gain Veins? Her age is 65 My worry is of any IV FLUIDS are needed in future how can it be resolved?? Please suggest if there is any treatment

She can do nothing. You should pray that there should be some experienced nurse in the hospital who can get a vein in the first attempt. This is one of those situations where being educated or having a Top Degree in Nursing will not help. It is your experience which you have gained by hard work.

Somewhat fatty hands, it's difficult to find out veins. But an experienced person can get the access easily. There is no way to produce new veins
