Hand swelling due to iv
My mother was hospitalised due to acute gastrititis.After inserting iv channel the nurse injected 2 injection in the channel and there was no problem.but as soon as the nurse started rl fluid my mother's hand became swelling at the iv area.after that the nurse stopped the flow and make a new channel on other hand.now she is discharged but there is severe pain in her hand and swelling.what to do now? Is it dangerous?

No... It s common after Iv injection... pls consult online and get medicines prescribed
