There are different ways in which u could entice a toddler to eat better to gain weight.
Give them small meals at frequent intervals like once in two hours.
Give them mashed fruits like apple or melon to which fresh cream or mashed paneer can be added or 50 ml of fresh fruit to which date syrup can be added.
Breakfast items like dosa, idli, chapathis can be made with vegs are added to them ( carrot, mooli etc) make them the size of 2 cm to 3 cm diameter make them colourful.
