Yes it could be due to muscle spasm. .due to needle prick. .kindly take muscle relaxants and do warm saline rinses. .If severe pain then take tab. diclomol thrice a day for 2 days.. wait for 3 days at least for the symptoms to get resolved. .take care
Do not try to open mouth wide..against resistance. .
dont worry. it is just a temporary thng. might have been due to muscle spasm for long appointments of mouth opening or needle orinjection injury. its a common thing. take prescribed antibiotics and muscle relaxants
Hi, Inability in mouth opening could be because of spread of infection or muscle spasm or it also can be because of injury to nerve during anaesthesia. You need to take muscle relaxant, antibiotics, B complex medication. Follow proper Root canal treatment.
Take Muscle relaxant tablets. Guess your dentist should have prescribed it already. Do mouth opening excercise. If it doesnt work visit the dentist he ll help open your mouth forcefully or with the help of an instrument. After that also you should do mouth opening excercise.
(1) not to worry
(2) to guide u: ask your brother to get regular check up from a dentist every 6 months to avoid any tooth disease, which would avoid him to go through treatment and it's complications. [Prevention is better than cure]
hello practo user
plz tell which teeth has been treated. there may be some reasons like rupture of masticatory muscles due to insertion of needle during anaesthesia. second, there may be abscess over in posterior region which causes restricted mouth opening.
take muscle relaxant and antibiotics prescribed by ur doctor.
It will be recover but u coming at clinic atlist for chakeup . Clinically show what happens.
