I guess i have chipped my tooth while eating something hard. Its thobing pain in my tooth while touching the tip also.
I am travelling. What can be done for time being?

Avoid eating food from that side and take soft diet .
For pain take Diclomol three times ,in case of severe pain take keterol dt and ice pack if any swelling in that area after u reach immediately consult a dentist and get ur treatment done.
Take tab.ketorol DT-10mg twice daily for 3days and Tab.mox_500mg ,thrice daily for 3 days. Get enameloplasty done by a dentist .you can consult through this for further details.
Dont worry...calm down.. try avoid eating hard and cold food items on that side...for three days take antibiotics and pain killer...

See you can only control the pain and infection by medication but without proper treatment of that tooth it will get worse only…
Go to the nearest dentist and get it treated or else if you can’t go to the dentist you have to control the pain by medication for pain and infection only.
But as soon as u stop the medication the pain will come cause it’s at the stage where medication only will not cure it and u need to get a proper treatment.
Take Ketorol DT for pain
And Augmentin 625mg for infection control twice for 5 days after food
