I've been on antibiotics for 3 days now. I've got two antibiotic shots but swelling is still in face and around the eye. It looks like a bubble under and above eye. Should I get it lanced or what? I've read so many things about the infection going to brain and it's got me really concerned. Please help! Thank you

The reason for you being on antibiotics is not mentioned. Did you undergo any dental procedure for which local anesthesia was given on your upper jaw. The area you mentioned of swelling could be because of
1. Severe infection in that particular region.
2. hematoma which could be caused by injecting LA in blood vessels (nothing to worry as it subsides by itself in 7-10 days)

Health Tips
if infection or hematoma is the reason for swelling, please do not use hot water or warm compress as it tend to increase the swelling
avoid eating spicy or hot food.
Antibiotics usually takes 4-5 days for its action. Sometimes you may need a heavier antibiotic combination.
The best way is to consult your dentist asap. Rinse with luke warm water mixed with salt after every meal. It will keep the area clean.
