I went to the dentist today as i had a cavity in my wisdom teeth.
As i went he directly with LA did my tooth extraction and stitching, prior to extraction no antibiotics were prescribed for 3 days prior to extraction.
But he prescribed only after extraction.
Is it fine or was he supposed to give it prior?

Hello, since he already didn't prescribe antibiotics we can do nothing about it so now just take your antibiotics prescribed by your dentist and for further assistance book my consultation.

Yes, It’s perfectly fine if the doctor has prescribed antibiotic after extraction.
If there is more infection seen then we do write antibiotics before extraction.
But in ur case he must have did analysis.
And after extraction, if antibiotics are prescribed it’s fine.
