A repeat thyroid profile is advised in patients with negative family/gestational history for thyroid disorder or no past history of autoimmune disorders. I advise you to discuss this with your physician. If you wish to opt for homeopathy, then you should start treatment.
Health Tips
Do not take medications as a trial or error, especially for thyroid concerns. This is a hormone that sets the metabolic rate for our body, so be cautious and careful when starting treatment.

Hi The TSH levels look too high for your age. Also your BMI is high suggesting overweight. But only these reports do not suffice for your entire condition. This condition can be controlled using homoeopathic medicines and slowly brought back to normal.
Next Steps
1. Check for free T3,  T4 levels and a repeat TSH. 2. Consult a homeopath for complete evaluation of underlying cause and proper treatment.
Health Tips
1. Focus on maintaining a routine as per the normal body clock. Make necessary changes for food and sleep cycles. 2. Avoid foods like broccoli, millets, refined sugars and soyabean. 3. Include mild to moderate exercise in your daily routine.

It is too high. I will suggest to repeat the test a week later to be sure. High TSH indicates hypothyroidism. You have to incorporate a few dietary and life style changes. Like, walking/ any other cardio exercises for 20 tp 30 mins. If you walk then make sure to maintain minimum 40 steps / min speed. For diet avoid cabbage and likewise vegetables. A through case taking followed by classical homoeopathy treatment can surely make things better.

Thyroid is a lifestyle disorder and can be very well cured with homoeopathy. Certain lifestyle changes along with treatment would give great results. You can also avoid using allopathy tablets gradually with proper treatment and there will be no side effects too.

Yes , your doctor said right. But on my opinion is to redo your test for TSH levels. And if its the same, you should immediately consult a doctor. Homoeopathy can help you to get the levels at normal. Its safe during pregnancy and does not have side effect . Weight loss can also help but it os necessary to treat  the cause behind such a high levels to get a normal TSH. Get a consultation at Tatva Homoeopathy on practo  to get gentle cure.
Next Steps
recheck the blood test for TSH

weight loss, medications, lifestyle changes

Hi Well yes the report readings are high Have you done Tsh Antibodies test ? It’s called TPO & Anti Thyroid Peroxidase Also a suggestion to repeat only TSH from Suburban or Metropolis lab since such values at your age are very rare findings Based on that the further evaluation and line of treatment can be chosen Thankyou Dr Megha Shah
