Does a thyroid patient have any food restrictions ?
Some people are saying we should ristrict some food but some people are saying we don't have any ristrict on food.
Please clarify me.

Hi dear these foods have goitrogens or are known irritants if consumed in large amounts.
Foods that contain gluten: Bread, pasta, cereals, beer, etc.

Cruciferous vegetables: Broccoli, kale, spinach, cabbage, etc.

There is no particular food restriction for thyroid patients. But in general to maintain good health, it is necessary to have an active life style, walking/exercise, healthy food, avoiding junk food and taking good amount of water would be helpful.
No food restrictions, but if iodine deficiency is there, then cabbages, cauliflower to be avoided.
Main is to reduce stress, as hormones fluctuate.
