Her thyroid function tests are normal constantly due to the present dose of thyroxin.Thyroxin is a replacement hormone, needs to be taken lifelong with periodic thyroid function tests monitoring and adjustment of dosage if required.
Hello..
TSH is in normal limits which is a good sign...
But before stopping medication we need to assess her clinical symptoms and slowly taper the dose

The most common cause of hypothyroidism in India is auto immune ( Hashitmoto's thyroiditis)
Unfortunately it is not curable.
But luckily it can be very well managed.
She will have to take the supplements lifelong and check her thyroid status once every six months.
Her TSH is within the normal range, that means that she's on the optimal dose of Thyroxine.
Continue the same dose.
Hi.. with 50mcg thyroxine supplementation the levels are normal. Pls continue the same.. next time when yu give blood test do free T3, free T4 and TSH and not the total t3 and t4.. if she has symptoms dose may be increased or decreased..
