Low thyroid levels can lead to fluid retention ,which causes swelling & pain.Following a healthy diet which has optimal amounts of first class proteins(dairy products, fish, egg etc) reduced carbohydrates(white rice, poha etc) & healthy fats (walnuts, almonds etc)along with a structured exercise program that is balanced with weight training and cardio will surely help. Thyroid imbalance will slow down the rate of fat loss, be consistent and patient. kindly contact us customised diet plan & workout plan.

Hi, Swelling in legs? Upper lets or feet and ankle area. Does this swelling on pressing leads to pitting of skin? Initially I suggest take a liver function test, renal function test and an ECG and check u r blood pressures atleast thrice in a day at different times for 2 days. U can then ask for related diet for weight gain, since if there is issue with swelling that needs to be address on priority.
