Hi These are intrusive thoughts sudden, unwanted, and disturbing ideas that pop up against your will. They often appear in people with OCD or anxiety, and they do not mean you’ll act on them. The fact that these thoughts scare you shows you don’t want to do them. These thoughts are just mental “noise,” not intentions. With CBT therapy, you can learn how to detach from them, reduce their frequency, and calm the fear response they trigger. You are not insane your mind is anxious and needs retraining, not judgment. Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

These are intrusive thoughts. They can be very distressing. They can be symptoms of an underlying mental illness, a detailed evaluation will be helpful in managing them.

Thank you for sharing openly about what you are experiencing. I want you to know that you are not alone in this, and many people do go through such unwanted and disturbing thoughts. These are often called intrusive thoughts — they come suddenly, feel very scary, and are not in your control. The fact that these thoughts disturb you and make you anxious shows that you do not want to act on them. You are not ‘going insane’. These thoughts can sometimes be related to anxiety, stress, or obsessive thinking patterns. The important part is that you have recognized them and reached out for help, which is a very positive step. Right now, it is important to not fight these thoughts alone. I would strongly recommend you to consult a mental health professional (counseling psychologist/psychiatrist) in person so that you can explore these thoughts safely, reduce your anxiety, and learn coping techniques. If at any moment you feel like you may actually harm yourself, please consider it an emergency and seek immediate support by calling a trusted family member, visiting the nearest hospital, or reaching out to a suicide helpline number in your country. With therapy and support, these thoughts can be managed and reduced. You deserve peace of mind and support."
Next Steps
Book an appointment with a counseling psychologist/psychiatrist for detailed evaluation. 2. Learn coping strategies to handle intrusive thoughts (grounding techniques, relaxation, CBT methods). 3. Share these thoughts with a trusted person instead of keeping them inside. 4. In case of feeling unsafe or at risk of self-harm → immediately call a suicide helpline or go to the nearest hospital.
