The yellow teeth are basically due to reflection of dentin color or any deposits on tooth surface.

First u need a cleaning then go for whitening there are different materials and concentration used for cleaning they can use the right materials to reduce the sensitivity . And do regular cleaning in every 6 months

Yellowness of teeth may be due to excess of plaque accumulation or natural color. Of your teeth. If you have sensitivity get it checked first then u can go for bleaching otherwise the irritation will increase.
