Hi mam
Happy that you are aware about your dental health at the earliest.
You cannot whiten teeth at home, no paste can do that work. Instead brush twice daily, 2 min each time with a soft brush and proper brushing technique. Hard brush abd improper technique can remove off your enamel leaving your teeth yellow.
Next Steps
If you feel , your teeth are yellow, go for a professional cleaning, still if it so and you want it to be corrected go for whitening procedures or Bleaching.
Health Tips
Avoid using mouthwash for long durations it itself stains your teeth.

Hello, I am Dr. Kapil Saroha from Kapil Dental Clinic And Implant Center, Rohini, Delhi.
i would like to tell you that there is no such thing as teeth whitening to do in home. The more you gonna do anything to make them white , more it will turn yellow.
what need to be understood is that color is merely because of the inner surface that is being reflected. the second layer of tooth is yellow in color, that we call as dentine and it varies patient to patient. with brushing hard or by means of using various chemicals it can cause first layer, that is enamel, to fade away. and thus increasing again the yellow appearance.
so the advice is let the natural color be there and forget about any home whitening procedures.
secondly you can use any paste that contains 1100 ppm fluoride.
thirdly doing gentle brushing with right technique helps rather than particular brush.
Next Steps
visit a dentist nearby to get the reason for bad breath checked .
