Hello. Herbal toothpastes has many natural ingredients like neem, pudina, laung, babool, haldi and more. So ingredients like these may nt suit everyones mouth and has known to show burning sensation after a long use. Also thse ingredients do not contain fluoride which prevent in cavity formation. The dentist may have seen such some symptoms or findings and therefore could have asked you to stop using it. Also check if the toothpaste is smooth cream like, that is, it does not have granules or micro granules like those found in facewashes/scrubs.
