Swelling in the neck can be due to a lot of reasons, common being lymph nodes and thyroid.

As you've mentioned in the previous queries today and before that as well, lymph nodes swelling don't generally appear and subside in such a short span. It can if there is a recurrence of infection or there is a deep seated infection though. A thorough history enclosed with photographs of the swelling is needed to ascertain the cause.
