Swelling, Toothache, and Fevers
Half a week ago, I had a very painful toothache, the next day, the side of my nose on the left had been sore for a day then it started to swell. I been taking amoxicillin 875mg tablets like my doctor told me to. I been doing ice pack routines since it felt like it helped the pain of both the swelling and toothache. I have noticed the swelling gone down for a day but it came back the next day. I'm confused to if this is really working.

If the Dr has recommended treatment for the tooth such as root canal or extraction , that needs to be followed up with as antibiotics and analgesics will not help much until the underlying problem has been solved. The dentist may introduce more medication to help with swelling but finally treating the tooth is important
Next Steps
Visit your dentist again to evaluate the swelling and concerned tooth
Health Tips
Avoid hot food and drinks until swelling subsides
