Your fasting and post-meal readings are slightly above the ideal range. Current values:
FBS ~107 mg/dL
PP ~225 mg/dL
For good diabetic control, the target range is:
• Fasting: 80–100 mg/dL
• Post-meal (2 hours): < 140 mg/dL (acceptable up to 160)
Since sugars are persistently on the higher side while only on Patanjali Madhunashini/diabetic care tablets, it suggests partial control but not sufficient. To prevent long-term complications (kidney, nerves, eyes, heart), better sugar control is needed.
Next Steps
Next Steps
1. Please get the following baseline tests done:
• HbA1c
• Fasting lipid profile
• Kidney function test
• Urine microalbumin
2. Continue your current supplements, but you will likely need a regular anti-diabetic medication (e.g. Metformin) after evaluation.
3. Avoid sugar, sweets, refined flour, rice in excess.
4. Walk 30–45 minutes daily, avoid late dinners, increase fibre intake.
5. Monitor sugars twice weekly and note the pattern.
Once you have your HbA1c report, we can decide the best treatment plan and whether to start medication.
Health Tips
Helpful Tips / Caution
• Supplement-based control alone is often insufficient.

You need to do a Hb1Ac test. If more than 6 then you will need to modify your lifestyle if at all needed. PP 200 + does not mean that you have diabetes. Please feel free to consult.
